Our customers are the most successful industry leaders executing projects around the globe.
We are partnering with one of the leader of Security Systems, for an important project in Abu Dhabi. Among the different activities we are delivering on the project we are looking for an Experienced Software Developer.
Job Responsibilities
The Software Engineer will do:
Rich web interface development (JavaScript, HTML-5, CSS3, VueJS )
Microservice components developments (Java, Maven, Vert.X, Bash, OpenAPI)
Take part in Continuous Integration Responsibility (Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Git, Jira, Sonar)
Be an Active part of the Agile • Respect Code best practices and rules, TDD approach, time commitments and adhere to project schedule, strategies, policies and constraints
Take technical decisions and be able to defend and justify the his choices
Be the go to person for technical challenges • Write high quality documents (technical documents, Low Level Design, ICD, High Level Designs, How-To documents, Software Requirement Specifications etc.)
Adhere to project schedule, strategies, policies and constraints
Skills + Experience
Bachelor in Science degree standard or equivalent experience in a Software development environment
Minimum 3 years' exp. in development with Strong knowledge of Java and user interface development.
Must have rich hands on experience in JAVA development and JavaScript (one of Angular, ReactJS and preferably VueJS).
Strong knowledge of microservice and cloud native architectures, DevOps, SDLC and OOP Design best practices is a pre-requisite.
Experience in using tools related to Agile Software development and DevOPS: GIT, Ansible, Docker, JIRA, Jenkins, Artifactory and similar
Must have technical writing experience (in English) and ability to produce high quality documents.
Knowledge and experience of Linux System is mandatory • Knowledge and experience of Database and SQL is mandatory
Must have high fluency in spoken and written English
Certifications in JAVA, Linux, DevOps toolset and Agile are preferred
A working experience with Real time Software, Radio Protocol, Radio wave, and communication would be beneficial
Knowledge and experience in other languages, like C, Python are preferred
